On Sunday we returned from Captain Aidan McKenna’s weekend away in Praia Da Rocha, Portugal where we spent 4 Nights at the 5 Star Algarve Casino Hotel and played 3 rounds of golf at Alto, Vale da Pinta & Morgado golf courses. A great time was had by all 10 who travelled. There was some great golf played by all in glorious 30 degree sunshine but the most consistent over the 3 rounds and winner of this years Captain’s prize was Michael Joyce with a great score of 90 points, 2nd place went to Michael McHugh with 89 points and 3rd went to Ian Reilly with 85 points, well done to all but in particular to Michael Joyce who played a great final round to win the prize. Think everyone is already looking forward to our next trip away in 2 years time!
